8.2 employee inspecting electrical setup of PV

Personal safety in photovoltaic systems and transfer stations

Legal security and plant safety — with independent tests of 8.2

Transfer stations of photovoltaic systems are regarded as electrical operating rooms and are therefore particularly subject to inspection. In large solar parks in particular, service providers and plant managers regularly work on site — preventing personal risks is a top priority here. The DGUV-V3 audit creates legal certainty and at the same time protects investments in PV infrastructure.

The DGUV regulations regulate both the safety test requirements and the qualification of the inspectors. In addition to the initial inspection after commissioning, repeat tests are required by law — usually every four years. This requirement applies to all electrical operating rooms in which personnel can be present. As a result, this provision applies to wind energy plants, as well as photovoltaic and storage systems.

With an audit in accordance with DGUV-V3 of 8.2, you fulfill your operator obligations, ensure the legal security of your system and also prevent technical risks.
