As 8.2 Obst & Hamm GmbH, we have been part of the 8.2 Group since 2003, with three specialized teams: Photovoltaics & BESS, Wind Energy, and Condition Monitoring. 

We are now a team of over 50 people, including individuals of different ages, genders, and nationalities, with and without children, working in full-time or part-time roles as permanent employees or students.

• Vibration monitoring of wind turbines and analysis of measurement results
• Diagnosis of machine conditions and identification of root causes for faults
• Preparation of reports and documentation of analysis results
• Close collaboration with our technical team and our clients
• Supporting the local service organization in decision-making for condition-based repairs

• Completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics) or a completed degree, such as a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Vibration Analysis CAT II qualification level
• Initial practical experience in the wind energy sector is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of monitoring software and measurement technology
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Organizational talent and a structured, independent way of working

• Proficiency in MS Office applications is required; knowledge of data processing and report generation is desirable

8.2 Consulting AG is one of the leading specialists in the field of renewable energy and offers technical consulting services and tests in the fields of wind energy and photovoltaics. As a member of the 8.2 Group, we are able to successfully manage even international or technically complex projects in tailor-made teams.

• Implementation of technical due diligence tests for wind energy projects (onshore)
• Technical evaluation of projects, plants and operational data as part of transactions and financing
• Project management and coordination of interdisciplinary teams
• Advice to investors, banks and project developers
• Collaboration on battery storage projects (BESS)

• Completed degree (e.g. engineering, renewable energy, mechanical engineering or comparable)
• Several years of professional experience in onshore wind energy
• Profound knowledge in technical consulting and ideally in project management
• Experience or interest in BESS technologies is desirable
• Analytical thinking, strong communication skills and structured working methods
• A confident appearance, you work in a structured manner and have good spoken and written communication skills, including in English
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word)
• The will to drive forward the energy revolution
