As 8.2 Obst & Hamm GmbH, we have been part of the 8.2 Group since 2003 with the three specialist teams Photovoltaic & BESS, Wind Energy and Condition Monitoring. We are now more than 40 people, including people of different ages, genders and nationalities, with and without children, permanent employees and students who work full time or part time. Your area of responsibility:
- You will assist and assist with technical tests on and on wind turbines.
- You record important data from the systems and analyze them.
- You help with the installation of measurement sensors.
- You will assist in carrying out vibration measurements.
- You support the preparation of reports and documentation.
Your profile:
- You are studying in a technical course with a focus on energy or environmental technology (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy systems).
- You are very interested in renewable energy; if you also have experience in connection with wind energy plants, we would be delighted.
- You are willing to travel (even for several days) and have a class B driving license.
- You are suitable for heights.
- You speak fluent German and have very good English skills.

- a deep and diverse insight into the technology of various wind turbine types as well as into legal and project-related topics such as maintenance, operation, monitoring and testing of wind turbines and wind farms.

Your area of responsibility:
- Technical testing of wind turbines and evaluation of rotor blades (with cable access technology)
- Carrying out vertical tower movement measurements, drivetrain vibration measurements, construction progress checks and component inspections
- Preparation of (damage) reports
- Evaluation of wind energy plants and projects as part of transaction processes
- Project management and technical advice
Your profile:
- Successfully completed technical degree or state-certified technician in the field of mechanical engineering or fibre-reinforced composites
- Distinctive interest in working with rope access technology (previous experience is an advantage)
- Work experience in the wind industry, in particular with rotor blades, is an advantage
- Organizational talent with a structured, independent way of working
- Class B driving license, as well as high willingness to travel
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English, any other language is an advantage.

8.2 Group is an international network of experts in the field of renewable energy. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an expert (m/f/d) with a focus on simulating wind energy plants for our southern German office in Neuhausen a.d.F.
Your area of responsibility:
- Preparation of technical reports in the areas of:
- Sound and shadow casting simulations
- Term extensions
- Ice throw analyses
- Turbulence report
- Finite element calculations
- On-site assessments of WEA sites
- Involvement in the development of internal models and calculation methods
Your profile:
- Completed technical education or studies, e.g. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Experience in wind energy is an advantage
- Programming skills, ideally in Python, Fortran, or VBA.
- Analytical thinking, team spirit and an independent and structured way of working
- Very good German and English skills

8.2 Group is an international network of experts in the field of renewable energy. To strengthen our team, we are looking for dedicated inspectors (m/f/d) for our southern German office in Neuhausen a.d.F., with a focus on the assessment of wind energy plants. The focus is on southern Germany, with occasional projects in other regions of Germany or Europe. Please submit your resume and cover letter.
Your area of responsibility:
- Carrying out inspections of wind energy plants (foundations, towers, machine components and rotor blades)
- Use of modern drone technology to inspect rotor blades and towers
- Analysis and evaluation of damage and preparation of well-founded technical reports
Your profile:
- Completed technical education or studies, e.g. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Experience in wind energy is an advantage, motivated career changers are also welcome
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel within southern Germany and occasionally throughout Europe
