With around 30,000 visitors and over 1,400 exhibitors, WindEnergy Hamburg was once again a great success!
The 8.2 Group was also able to make many valuable new contacts at its stand and further deepen existing customer relationships.
Visitors this year included Hamburg's Senator for Environment and Energy, Jens Kerstan (Alliance 90/The Greens).
He took the opportunity to talk to the newly elected 8.2 Group CEO Heiko Wuttke about current obstacles and challenges in expanding Hamburg's wind energy.
One problem here is the lengthy approval process, which then resulted in the central topic of discussion:
How can approval procedures for new wind energy plants be shortened in the future and what contribution can the independent experts from 8.2 make in preparing risk analyses here, e.g. when planning wind energy plants in the port area?
Because one thing is clear: 8.2 stands for the only correct lifetime extension - that of wind energy plants, not that of nuclear power!
