A true showcase project for the energy revolution!

The energy storage system in Schmölln (Brandenburg), an asset of the CEE Group, is powered by two wind turbines and was recently put into operation.

The juwi Group has implemented the project and is taking over operational management.

The so-called hourly storage device can delay the supply of the surrounding wind turbines by hours and thus take over various network services.

Overall, the battery storage system enables more renewable energy in the power grid and makes it more robust. 8.2 Obst & Hamm GmbH supported the transaction as part of a TDD and technically tested the battery storage system with a storage capacity of around 3 MWh. 8.2 Consulting AG carried out the technical testing for the connected V136 wind turbines.
