We test battery storage systems for safety, compliance with contractual requirements, recognized technical standards, and state-of-the-art technology—from individual projects to hybrid power plants. The services provided by the 8.2 Group include technical inspections, technical due diligence services, DGUV V3 inspections, and other technical consulting services, such as commenting on technical contract content. The aim is to ensure the technical reliability, regulatory compliance, and economic operability of BESS systems – today and with a view to long-term plant operation. Battery storage systems are increasingly being supported in the early stages of projects, for example through independent, system-oriented designs and market-based feasibility analyses, particularly in the context of hybrid PV, wind, and grid-limited plant concepts.
