8.2 QHSE and ON-TRA publish English version of their online training for EuP and EFK

An annual safety briefing is mandatory as soon as work is carried out in the vicinity of electrical systems or in an electrical plant. Each worker concerned must be instructed accordingly.

8.2 QHSE in cooperation with ON-TRA Online Training, has now published the industry-independent online training course "Safety when working on electrical systems" as an English version on May 1st, 2020.

The English versions content has been semantically rebuilt, to allow the user a better transition to topics and terminology. The employer covers both: the theoretical part of the training for electrotechnically
instructed persons (EuP) and the theoretical content of the annual safety instruction for work on - or in the vicinity of electrical systems. The online course serves electrical specialists (EFK) and also serves the need for initial and repeat training.

The criteria of the annual safety instruction for work on electrical systems according to § 12 ArbSchG, § 12 BetrSichV, DGUV regulation 3 and DIN VDE 0105-100 are also met.

Participants can register for the course on the ON-TRA.de website and either enroll for German or English instruction. With this product, the 8.2 QHSE and ON-TRA react to the digital, structural change and the need for multilingualism. In this way, they also provide international employees and superiors with a costeffective and efficient training program. Embedded in an intuitive user interface, complex learning content is explained step by step in English and made understandable at a high didactic level.

After successfully completing the course, the certificate is sent immediately in both languages. "Learning at your own pace, optionally from home or any other place with Internet access, as well as a flexible schedule are decisive advantages for the challenges of our dynamic daily work, in which increasingly international teams dominate," says one of the 8.2 QHSE managing directors Oliver Gratzke.

Erik Schmidt, also managing director of 8.2 QHSE, adds: “The combination training from EuP and EFK has so far been unique in Germany. It provides comprehensive, uniform specialist knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of occupational safety and accident prevention and now also for workers from non-German-speaking countries, who unfortunately do not even know the legal requirements for EUP instruction. We offer these people a modern alternative to traditional training
courses, which unfortunately cannot be held as usual, due to the current health crisis worldwide."

Together with ON-TRA, 8.2 QHSE is pursuing the goal of establishing itself as one of the first providers of digital educational opportunities, in the field of electrotechnical occupational safety, for Englishspeaking employees in Germany and actively helping to reduce the costs of renewable energies.

ON-TRA Online Training is specialized in e-learning. The German company has developed your course offer together with leading international experts who have more than 25 years of practical experience and adapted it to the requirements of the participants.
